We know it’s far too early in the year for a post like this, but now that the fixtures for BBL|08 have been announced, we’ve been able to plug them into the BBL Elo spreadsheets to present the season predictions!
There will be more incoming (at a more realistic time),1 but there’s a few fun updates that we’ve made to the prediction spreadsheet:
- They’re larger! This isn’t our choice, we just need to accommodate all 14 games.
- Season at a glance! On the ‘Match Preview’ page of the spreadsheet (the one where we screenshot our little daily updates), we’ve now got the entire season fixture, including win chances.
- Unbeaten/winless season odds! On the ‘Chance of Winning’ page, we have the current odds (x to 1) that each team will have a 14-0 or 0-14 season.
- Match dates! On each team’s page, we now have the dates of each game as well as their winning chance for it.
- Fancy links! The URLs for each spreadsheet are now easier to remember.
