The A-League began last week with plenty of excitement – Sydney FC won the Grand Final rematch after Thomas Deng scored an own goal better than most regular goals, Bruce Kamau scored the first two goals of the season as Melbourne City beat Brisbane, and Roy O’Donovan scored a hat-trick in a 5-1 victory, putting Newcastle on top of the ladder.
I got one out of five tips correct, with my only correct tip being Sydney to beat Victory. FADR did better, picking both that (with the correct scoreline) and Adelaide to draw with Wellington.
